The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) proudly presents the Team Kentucky Homeowner Assistance Fund, a federal program designed to provide crucial support to homeowners facing financial challenges related to their mortgage and housing expenses during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping them avoid foreclosure. Many homeowners have had the opportunity to restructure their home loans, resulting in reduced monthly payments and the deferral of debt until the end of their mortgage terms.
Program Benefits
Kentucky's Homeowner Assistance Fund offers a maximum allowance of $60,000 per household, providing significant relief to eligible homeowners. Through the new Partial Claim Loan Deferral Assistance program, homeowners can reduce or eliminate additional debt, ultimately increasing their home equity.
